Mind that helps us achieve our Goal
On the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary
of Mahatma Gandhi, CSIR-NISCAIR had organized a talk at it’s Satsang Marg premises.
The topic of the talk was “How to achieve goals by infinite powers of mind: inspiration
from Gandhi.” The talk was delivered by Dr. BK Paliwal.
Dr. Paliwal
has completed 30 awesome years in various sectors and organizations both
Government and private corporates. He started his career from National Dairy
Development Board. From there he switched to Dhara vegetable oil and food
company limited. After serving for 7 and a half years to the company he accepted
a job in Mother Dairy. After that, there was no looking back for him. He
subsequently served for Cargill India Private Limited and Emami Agrotech
Limited.
In the welcome address of the Programme Dr. Mukesh
Pund, Head Human Resource Development Division of NISCAIR said that for youth
to get motivation from the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi is always a great idea.
He even added that Dr. Manoj Kumar Patairiya, Director NISCAIR was the
guiding source of the idea of having a talk on Mahatma Gandhi’s Philosophy. He
further added that Gandhi Ji was called Mahatma by his extraordinary
achievements. He was guided by the ideas and values of non-violence and peace.
He was not born great but he made himself great by his hard work and devotion
towards his goal.
While delivering his lecture and talk Dr. BK Paliwal
primarily focused on the Mudra of Gandhi Ji in which he generally uses to sit.
Gandhiji’s
state of mind always uses to be in the Alpha state. During the Alpha state, the strength of
the mind increases manifold. So, we need to harness the infinite strength of the
mind.
He added that human qualification doesn’t determine
the human future. We observe people with different personalities in the same environmental
condition, it is just because of the utilization of the mind in different ways.
He said that the strength of the mind is infinite. The mind is
of two types. Conscious mind and subconscious mind. Generally, the conscious mind
acts as a boss and sub-conscious mind as a slave.
Gandhi Ji
used the tool of prayers to harness the power of the subconscious mind to accomplish
the most of his deeds.
Dr. Paliwal
also made us acquainted with the steps to be taken in life to become successful
or to achieve our goals in life.
When all the steps are followed in the proper way one
should have patience and should patiently wait for the result. There is no shortcut
to success and it will happen on it’s prescribed the time when due effort in the
direction is made correctly.
At the end of the talk, Dr. Manoj Kumar Patairiya thanked
Dr. Paliwal for delivering meaningful as well as useful talk. He added
that human beings should have a positive attitude in life, which will lead to
